About SeasonHopper

SeasonHopper exists because planning a seasonal day out in the UK usually means cross-referencing a three-year-old blog post, a Facebook event with no year on it, and a venue website last updated when the kids were smaller.

So we do it properly: we find the events, read each organiser’s own page for the dates, prices and booking rules, link to it, and stamp every listing with the day we checked. When something isn’t running this year, we say so instead of quietly leaving it up. The details of how we check, including where AI tools help, are in our editorial policy.

It’s run by humans in Lancashire, built by Kay, with a lot of help from a hare called Bramble. The seasons rotate: pumpkin farms, Halloween and Bonfire Night in autumn, then Santa’s grottos, Christmas markets and party nights, and egg hunts and flower fields in spring. The site literally changes colour when the season turns.
