About SeasonHopper

SeasonHopper exists because planning a seasonal day out in the UK usually means cross-referencing a three-year-old blog post, a Facebook event with no year on it, and a venue website last updated when the kids were smaller.

So we do it properly: we find the venues, check them against their own websites and business profiles, stamp every listing with the date we checked it, and re-check weekly through each season. When something isn’t running this year, we say so instead of quietly leaving it up.

It’s run by humans in Yorkshire — built by Kay, with a lot of help from a hare called Bramble. The seasons rotate: pumpkin patches and Halloween now, bonfires and grottos next, egg hunts and flower fields after that. The site literally changes colour when the season turns.
